The Numbers Between the Numbers

2025

The Numbers Between the Numbers explores two decades of Omer Arbel’s experimental practice—spanning sculpture, architecture, and design. At the heart of Arbel’s process is a catalog of numbered ideas.

To date, 147 concepts have been logged: 19 realized as Bocci works, others as architectural or sculptural projects, many still in development. This exhibition presents a curated selection from that evolving archive. Grouped across shelves, some works chart the progression of a single idea, others are arranged intuitively—echoing their studio origins and the ongoing conversation between material, maker, and form.

Also featured: a video installation on 75.9, a house completed in 2024, offering both a cinematic survey and a behind-the-scenes view of its making.

The Glass Slabs studies mark the latest chapter in a ten-year exploration of glass fusing—one of the studio’s most enduring material inquiries.
